Our One Fine Day

My husband and I wrote poems and love letters to each other. I wanted to share one of our poems to each other before we met for the first time in May. It's how our relationship got stronger from being open and continuing our honesty and communicating with each other. We fell in love with just one kiss. He always said to me that how we met was an explosion and he is so happy that I wrote him when I return home from my first trip to Cuba.

One fine day....

Only few hours it only took for you to win my heart.
Your smile is what captivated me. My shyness is what lured you to want me.
Your passionate kiss is what weak in the knees and butterflies appeared within me.

You are a beautiful and intellectual man who claimed my heart and left me smiling that could be forever.
One fine day foresee my future of having you in my life forever.
Our one fine day is my happy place that I will never forget for the rest of my life.

Two months ago I met a special girl and my life was changed forever,
Because to my door the Love arrived; and my happiness flooded my heart.

I am proud to say that a man such as him can express so much of his feelings to me and not hold back. He is an intellectual man, who is very proud but yet can show his softness in the words his used in his letters to me. I guess you can say we are lucky to have found one another. We came from different world, but the one thing that we have in common is that we love each other so much.
